Pumpers from How2 Series (our Studio) has officially released on the Meta Horizons Store (formally App Lab) and includes many features essential for Fire Engine / Pump Operations training. This virtual reality software provides a realistic environment and simulates pump preparation, water management and delivery from the onboard tank or hydrant.

This training experience incorporates multiple walkthroughs such as “basic pumping”, “hydrant” and “drafting” and includes an in-real life modeled 2-stage pump and support for multiple hoselines with varying lengths and sizes. Friction loss and flow management including pressure details can be viewed in real-time through the Pumpers Metrics display.

The Pumpers for Meta Quest virtual reality training simulator is free to try with access to the initial “Basic Pumping” walkthrough, however more complex functionality mentioned above will require a paid monthly or yearly subscription.
